My first book Zug Island: A Detroit Riot Novel tells my story of working at the coke ovens for Great Lakes Steel Corporation culminating in the Detroit Riots of 1967. My next effort Terror in Ypsilanti: John Norman Collins Unmasked is my true crime treatment of the all-American college student presumed to be the murderer of seven young women between the summers of 1967 and 1969.
In addition to my longer works, I write a weekly blog entitled Fornology.

I grew up in the Downriver area of Detroit, Michigan, but currently live in San Diego, California. After graduating from Allen Park High School in 1966, I entered Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti earning a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in English Language and Literature. After retiring from teaching language arts for thirty-seven years, I decided to follow my dream of becoming an author.
